I love reading on my Paperwhite. Every now and then I find that when I try to get a book to download onto my Kindle it just decides to not download. After some persistence and time wasted, I kinda managed to do it. Anyways, this fixes most problems. Now try downloading it back from the cloud section. You can also choose to download and transfer it to your device from your computer using a USB cable. It should work and has worked for some or if not most of our readers.

I have an iPad 2 and the Kindle app, and for years have had no problems downloading ebooks from Amazon. Suddenly as of September 16th , when I buy an ebook from Amazon and send it to my iPad to add to my list of ebooks already downloaded, the new ebooks won't actually download. They show up in my Kindle library if I'm online but will NOT download and it says to tap retry to try again, which I do over and over again, but each time I do this, it tells me again to retry, and still won't download. I have turned off my iPad and turned it back on again several times but still can't download the ebooks, so turning off the iPad then turning it back on again isn't the problem. Is there possibly a limit to how many ebooks you're allowed to have in your library?
